Please schedule your new patient visit ahead of time to keep waiting to a minimum and to ensure that the doctor has sufficient time to spend with you. The entire first visit will take 45 min to 1hr.

Initially, you will be given a brief confidential health history. This usually takes 10-15 minutes. Then you will be taken to the exam room and you will meet the doctor. At this time, he will review your health history and will proceed with a consultation. This is the time where he listens and learns about your chief complaint: its history, its progression, how it affects you, its treatment history, and other pertinent information. The consultation gives you a good idea of what type of help you require and whether or not we will be able to help you.

If there is a good chance that we may honestly help you, we will proceed to an examination. This procedure includes a variety of tests to find out the exact origins of the problem. These include ranges of motion studies, strength tests, orthopedic and neurological tests, and static and motion palpitation. If the evidence gathered further supports that treatment will sincerely help the condition, X-rays may be taken. This is only if they will significantly aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the injury. If the situation is not an emergency, the report of findings will occur within the next day or two. The report of findings is where the doctor explains the results of the examination and X-rays and comprises the details of the consultation. This will be done in a manner that is easy to understand and makes complete sense. After answering any questions you may have, he will make a suggestion in in regards to treatment. These include: type of treatment, what is involved in the treatments, treatment schedule, expectations and time frame, exercises or home therapy and all costs. If there are any further questions, they will be answered, after which time you will receive your first treatment. After the treatment there will be a short discussion and you will be taken to the front desk to schedule your treatments, make your payment and discuss any other arrangements.

Please Note: It is very important that you bring your spouse or partner to the report of findings; this allows them to have a clear understanding of your condition and how it has affected you. In our experience, this support greatly affects the treatment outcome. This is an organized system to provide an accurate initial diagnosis and effective treatment plan right from the beginning. This process enables us to answer all your questions and make you and your spouse part of the treatment team. This is necessary in order to maximize your progress and minimize your treatment time. Our goal is not to provide a quick fix, or make you dependent forever. But to provide a permanent resolution to a problem, in the shortest possible time.
